The Borromeo family, of Florentine origins, moved to Milan and became one of the most important and influential in the city, also thanks to their collaborations with the then Duke Francesco Sforza. The palace was visited by students and foreign visitors who came to admire the rich art gallery inside: who knows, maybe Leonardo was one of them!

In 1607, cardinal Federico Borromeo founded a famous library of Milan, where two Leonardo codes are still preserved: the Codex Atlanticus and the Codex Trivulzianus.

Can you guess the name of the library?
